I was born in Belleville, Illinois. I studied art history, drawing, painting, sculpture, design and photography at Southwestern Illinois College, where I worked as an illustrator in the Print Shop & Graphics Department. I left my job as an illustrator at the college to follow my calling as an entrepreneur and started off by co-founding the first indoor skatepark in Southern Illinois and founding a graphic design and screen printing studio. In 2010, I opened a skateboard shop/print shop where I designed and printed private label skateboard graphics and apparel.
In 2020, when covid was declared a pandemic, I closed my skateboard shop and screen printing studio and moved to the St. Francois Mountains in Southeastern Missouri, where I setup a home-based print shop to focus on fine art. My current work consists of, and often combines, a variety of techniques such as: screen printing, gelatin plate printing, cyanotype printing, xerography, alternative transfer processes, drawing, painting and collage.
